Default 2001 48V cart won't move

In either forward or reverse, when I push the gas pedal, I can hear a clicking sound and the voltage meter drops from 50.8 to 50.6. It really seems like the motor is getting power. I've jacked up the back end and rotated the tires by hand. No issues there. Everything spins fine. What do I check next?

Don't worry about it - Irma is fixing to take care of it....

Is this a series or sepex cart? (Lever FNR or Rocker switch)

But if you are trying to beat out that old heifer, then:
- Check the power at the solenoid large post. See if you have pack voltage coming from the battery. Then check the other large post and it will be a little less than pack voltage until you depress it and then it should come up to full pack voltage after you hear the "click". If not or no click, check the 2 small post for 48 volts and see if you are not getting the input from the + or - sides which are needed to close it in.

*Use the normal safety precautions and take your time. Do not accidentally ground anything and cause a short.

It has the FNR lever.

Thanks. After I finish installing the shutters today, I'll do the check you described.
