| well my vglide needs to be replaced so i want to start collecting parts to do the switch I know I need a 48v charger, pot box, and controller, but is there anything else? is there a list anywhere? and if I have 6 volt batteries and 12v marine deep cycle with that be okay? thanks |

| You will need a 48 volt solenoid also. That 12 volt battery will not work for anything but testing you will have to get 2 more 6 volt batteries or buy 6 8 volters. A 12 volt battery will not be compatible with the pack, will not charge correctly. Marine batt. and golf cart batt. are 2 different animals. |

| Also to get the full effect and while you have it all apart, consider upgrading the cables to 4 gauge. It would be much easier when doing the whole conversion. Ya know once you start upgrading and getting more speed, its only a matter of time before you get a new motor or something, so have the cables ready and done |

| Chevy, I have a spare 48v charger, a little beat up...but it works fine. |
