FYI

12 watts/12 volts = 1 amp

So 2 55 watt headlights would pull over 8 amps ( not counting clearance or tail lights). The 7 amp switch is working over its rated amperage.

Start tracing the wires back until you find power and that will be the connection or component that is bad.

When you added lights you had to hook up the main power lead which contains a fuse. Do you have power before and after the fuse? Following the power lead till there is no power.
