Pre-Charge Resistor
So the error code is the pre-charge resistor on my alltrax. I ordered a few of them, going to try it out to see if that solves my problem with the cart working after a full charge and just stopping. From what I've read, the pre-charge failure code this is what it is telling me what to do in the forum. Any other thoughts? I ordered 470 ohm 10 w resistor.

Re: Pre-Charge Resistor
I thought all the 2017 models and newer had that built in thru the controller. Maybe that is only the XRT models.... You may want to double check on that unless yours is an older model.

Re: Pre-Charge Resistor
Are Alltrax reliable controllers? It seems everyone has problems with them here. Are they not a plug and play after programmed? Do you constantly end up having issues with them???

Re: Pre-Charge Resistor
Scroll through and look at all the signatures that list "Alltrax....."
They are great controllers, but people that do have an issue or does not understand something will post to get help. All the rest of us do not post because we are not having any problems.... |

Re: Pre-Charge Resistor
The SR controller does need the pre-charge resistor.
A large percentage of the people who have problems post here for help. All of these "problems' get resolved, most of those problems are user error. The thousands of Alltrax customers who do not post here are out riding around. |

Re: Pre-Charge Resistor
Everyone has been very helpful. I apologize in advance for my questions asked because I don't know what the hell im doing. I've owned a golf cart for 5 months and have lifted it, redone the controller , fnr switch, tires, wiring etc by myself with everyone's help and I've learned a lot along the way.
But to the question, alltrax is awesome. When everything works right and hooked up properly it is awesome. ****, not sure how I would even know about a pre-charge failure code which means I need a new pre-charged resistor! I am determined to get my stuff running and done right and I'll be carrying on |

Re: Pre-Charge Resistor
Make sure there is no small gauge wires on the Solenoid big post that goes to the Controller B+.
