Post IQ conversion, Throttle intermiitent
Just converted a regen to IQ with Navitas Controller (shout out to David at Revolution carts for the new conversion harness, mounting plate, and, most importantly expert advice).
Anyway, cart was not running before I started (bad controller). Now it FLYS (when it runs). Most of the time I have to wiggle the accelerator up and down to get it to go. It always eventually goes, just not immediately responsive to throttle. I am guessing this is either a brush issue or an MCOR (which I did not replace) issue. Any thoughts or ideas? |

Re: Post IQ conversion, Throttle intermiitent
I would guess MCOR or an issue with the throttle linkage to the MCOR.

Re: Post IQ conversion, Throttle intermiitent
Probably a classic symptom of an intermittent micro switch in the MCOR. VERY common.

Re: Post IQ conversion, Throttle intermiitent
I had to replace the MCOR for the same problem. I am going to try to open the old one and see what can be done with it.
The switch may be replaceable but that may be wishful thinking! |

This post has a link to the double-butterfly switch needed and an explanation of the inside of the MCOR.
You can read the entire thread as the member documented his process for opening the MCOR: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ml#post1370203 |

This is for the OEM MCOR on the 01 to 04 DS models. Mine is the MCOR-4. Might the switch be the same? |

Re: Post IQ conversion, Throttle intermiitent
Good point, I don't know.
I don't recall any post about an MCOR-4 being taken apart, if You open one up I am sure we can find the switch part number. |
