Default Re: SLO MO Club Car-can't get out of its oun way

OK, I removed the black plastic access panel by the back of the seats and found the controller and a solenoid located to the left of the controller.

It looks like a large white cable comes from the controller to the left side of the solenoid, then another from the right side of the solenoid to the motor.

If the solenoid is bad would the cart run at all? It just runs slow now.

*****How do I check the function/condition of the solenoid? *****

Thanks, FJN

Now that I've located the solenoid can anyone tell me how to check/test whether it's working properly ?
