Alltrax you’ll have more user adjustable with a lap top computer vise a Curtis handheld control on the stock. Plus more torque and speed with just a controller upgrade using the stock motor.

The only pro is the price. Everything else is a con. The Alltrax will be a much more dependable controller.

I have club car ds 1992 36v with v glide and coil resistors, I am thinking of replacing that system with Alltrax 500 controller, Is that wise and will that boost the performance?

Do i need to keep the v glide and resistors or this controller will substitute them?Which easier to deal with programable or non programable? If i get a non programable and later i need to change the cart to 48v, will it work?

Scotty,
I know for a fact that the Alltrax controller you sent me worked great in the Ezgo project that I was working on. other then the typo in the operators manual for the A-2 cable. its an easy install. and I thank you for that.

I was talking to one of our local dealers here in town and was telling him of my project. He said that I made a big mistake by not having the original controller rebuilt. That is the reason I ask the pros and cons.

He said that because he isn't an alltrax dealer LOL

I LOVE my controller, I saw on your other thread your wife drives the cart (mine too). With the Alltrax you can use the on the fly mode selector and tune one mode more aggressive, and one with a much softer torque curve etc. My wife hates driving the cart in my mode as its ver aggressive :)

This!!

I love mine also, fully adjustable and I even asked Alltrax for some tweaks that they are working on. And the software interface is very intuitive. By far better overall than any other controller in the market.
