Default Battery Charger

My charger has a 15amp fuse toggle switch located on the front of the charger that just recently started to click off after about 2 or 3 minutes of plugging it in which stops the whole charging process. Now after a couple of days the fuse no longer shuts down the charging, however it just keeps charging at about 12amps without shutting down when fully charged. I installed all new (8volt) batteries in my cart 2 weeks ago so I know the batteries are not the problem but I also am concerned that I may be damaging them by overcharging.

That 15 amp "switch" is the 120v circuit breaker,

If it's tripping, there's something wrong with the bridge rectifier, or the relay!

IMO... Stop using it!

Take it to a Club Car dealer and have it repaired!
Or, buy a used one from your dealer... one of our sponsors... or EBay

I would replace the bridge or diode, and replace the circuit breakers.. Altogether those parts are maybe $40. Not that bad. A new charger would be steep.
