Default 2006 Precedent 25"tires need help

I am getting ready to put a jakes long travel kit on a 2006 precedent and want to run 25" tires. Do i need to upgrade my electronics? do I need to upgrade motor? I am not looking for speed but will need torque to run on mildly hilly terrain and dont want to take the chance of burning anything up. has anyone put 25's on a precedent and if so how much lift. please show pics.

I would add an alltrax xct400, 2awg wire, and hd solenoid contact David at Revolution carts. Also if you want more torque I'd recommend the admerial A4 motor.

Why do you recommend the xct400 over the xct500?

I would put XCT500 and A4 motor if you can't find your way to a smaller tire.
Putting a 25" tire on a golf cart is a about a 40% increase in gear ratio resulting in an equal reduction in torque. The cart is going to need all the help it can get to go uphills.

Think of it like this; when you put the biggest tire you can get on a cart, you also need to put the biggest controller and motor on the same cart.

I agree with most, you will need a Alltrax 500 controller and A-4 motor. As I’m running 28” tires with a speed motor, but I bought a A-4 for more torque but not installed yet.

I am assuming you really need the ground clearance of a 25 or 28" tire. Never underestimate to torque required to turn those meats when you get in deep mud, steep hills, or up here, snow. I would find the lowest gears I could find to put in the diff to help regain the "leverage" lost with big rubber. Nothing more embarrassing than getting stuck due to lack of power and just sitting there like a tool.
