Default 1987 Club Car motor bench test

I was Given this 1987 Club Car it is missing all of its controls all i am left with is the motor i am wondering how i can bench test the motor i have looked at some of the bench tests on here and none of them seem to be the right one this is the motor iam trying to test any help would be great


this is the motor numbers
5BC48JB764 2HP, 2800RPM, 36V 1012191 CLUB CAR

These are torque motors......best to test it in the differential. Not on the bench.

Question on this test. The way its wired it runs the cart in revers is there a way to run it forward?

Flip the bench over, it will run the other way!
