Deluxe light kit question: Not getting 12v Constant to brake switch / brake wire

2014 Club car.
Extension kit. With extension wiring.

Blue wire from main light on harness is constant 12v from reducer voltage source. (should any other wires be 12v constant on main light harness?)

The red nor orange wires at brake box show any voltage. Millivolts bump around on meter is all.
The red black and orange wires from brake box feed back into main light kit harness and main light kit harness connector.

Why am I not getting voltage to brake box orange or red? Any ideas?

Relay maybe? The red wire from the brake box eventually turns into a green and white striped wire that plugs into the relay begins the dash after a few harness connectors.

I can post pics if needed.

Edit: I tested the 12v constant (main power to deluxe kit) at the relay. Shows 12v. However when I tested each remaining prong on the relay after plugging in the Blue 12v constant, I show NO power to any of them on the relay. Is that normal?

After jumping the 12v Constant to the green and white wire which eventually becomes the red wire at the brake box, I hooked up the brake switch as normal and it functioned. Which tells me if the red wire to the brake box can get voltage, everything else is normal and functioning.

So I get voltage to the relay (12v). No voltage coming out of the relay.

Relay shows a 48v positive and 48v negative hooking into relay. I currently do not have 48 volts hooked up to relay as I am finishing up controller change. So I am using an old battery hooked up to my voltage reducer/fuse panel for my accessories and light kit.

Will this relay not function without the 48v feeding into it????
Or do I have a bad relay.

No takers yet? Just needing to know if the light kit relay only functions when it has a 48V source along with the 12V source.

I don't understand the 48 volt supply to the relay. Neither of the lighting kits i installed had such a thing. They were completely 12 volt.

However, the 48 volt supply may be used so the lights won't be able to come on unless the key switch is on. In this case, just wire to battery minus and to the 48 volt wire coming out of the key switch.

I have the 48 volt supply right off B+ and B- going to a separate double-pole double-throw switch to energize the voltage reducer. There are times when I want to leave the lights on when the key switch is off. Also I can leave this switch off if I run off road when I don't need the 12 volt reducer and lights operating.

Are you getting any power past the converter? I had a problem with mine and there was no power coming out of it. I also ran into an issue at the same spot. There should be a grey wire with a female bullet connecter at the plug to the bucket harness where it plugs into the converter harness, or you wire it. It may be in the tubing and no able to be seen. Make sure that is plugged into the grey bullet connector on the red wire from the factory harness but he 9-pin plug.

All of this ay be moot if your kit has power but wanted to check.

Yes I have power past the reducer to the light kit harness. And the bullet grey wire is connected. The harness is powered up and gets a 12V constant to the relay. The relay also has a 48 V + and 48V- that plug into it. The “output” from the relay is the 12V wire to the brake light harness.

That is a 48v coil relay and it requires 48v to operate.

That relay is standard on Precedents that do not have a +12v source controlled by the key switch.
