Default 36 volt motor on a 48 volt CC

I am thinking of taking my 2 carts and putting my 36 volt motor in my 48volt golf cart, I am about to get the altrax 500, 400amp solenoid and the HD F&R switch. Any opinions or input?

I believe I read somewhere that the motors can take a lot more than they are rated for so it shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck.

There will be a lot of speed and torque loss. But it might be fine for an old timer like me!
