Heres the pic, i mounted the pot on some aluminum angle and clamped it to the frame, then i hooked the acc. rod to it and moved it around until i got full travel, using a meter to find correct readings. When i got it right i tek screwed the angle piece to the frame.

Not that it matters much, but that pot is a PB 2 that i had laying around. I need to get a PB 6 and a higher amp controller. But the wife uses this cart around the yard and she hasn't complained yet. [IMG]http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii1/Jonray_bucket/Carts-2008/100_0437.jpg[/IMG

Heres the cart, It is a lot nicer to drive with a controller system, those old resistors are stinky a low speeds.

Jray, I tried that very same method on my second one......It was not possible for me to get enough travel so I'm thinking the only diff is a pb6 and a pb2? So maybe the pb2 has a shorter action to it's lever? Must be ... we will See what kind of info the extractor can extrapolate

It did take a lot of screwing around to get that pot to read right. After seeing your setup Scotty i think it would be easier, and faster. When i change it to a pb 6 i will give it a try.
