Re: 8 month batt storage , 48.4V
I wish I had set of 48v that charged to 65v.
I hope you had your DVM connected during finish cycle of charge. At the end of charge cycle your charger will go into the mid 60v range. Once charge is finished and batteries settle, you should see 50.9v, that is 100% full state of charge for a 48v bank. As long as as the batteries had water, there shouldn't have been any damage done. That wasn't enough voltage drop to do damage. If your have year round power get a battey maintainer, it will keep your batteries charged in offseason. If not, after final charge disconnect all battery cables. |

Yea
Was 65.4 when the charger shut off Dropping as I took March pic May check volts in the am to know what it settles to? Water level looked good (over the plates anyway) but need to check again after 2 hard charge cycles |

Re: 8 month batt storage , 48.4V
Am guessing the obc will be charging as
if new batts were installed. Anything I should watch for? |

Re: 8 month batt storage , 48.4V
You're good. Watch water level.
The OBC is doing it's job. Your charging times are good. Let the charger do it's job. |

Re: 8 month batt storage , 48.4V
65.3V is way too high for a battery to charge. It is even to high for an equalization charge.

Re: 8 month batt storage , 48.4V
I routinely see ~63v on my PD3 at the end of the charge.

Re: 8 month batt storage , 48.4V
You better replace it with a DPI charger.
