03 Club Car Will Not Move
I'm new to golf carts, I have a 48v. club car. Volt meter shows 49.8 volts at battery side of solenoid. Key cyl. ck's ok, run/tow switch ok. When I push accel pedal down the solenoid clicks & car will move then quit. Solenoid will click maybe 2 more times then quit. solenoid shows 49.5 volts on both sides but there's a resistor between the 2 large terminals. I'm figuring thats why I show volts on both sides even though it does't click. A manual that tells what volts and grounds are would be nice but any info to check would be appreciated. Also what does the on board computer have to do with car operation thought it was more for charging?

Re: 03 Club Car Will Not Move
Hello BFORD and Welcome to the forum.
What you are describing is typically a weak connection. Could be battery connections, Forward/Reverse Switch, bad MCOR, or bad Solenoid. Does your cart have the small rocker switch for the F/R switch or the handle to change the directions? |

Yes it has the small toggle switch. I have ck'ed switch 49.0volts out. I stuck a jumper between the post on the solenoid and car still want move. Will load test batteries tonight.
