CC Precedent - A-Arm lift kits?
So I'm slowly starting to put together my wish laundry list of items for the winter build. Of course I'll have to clear the Xmas credit card hurdle first before I drop any coin on the cart
I have some feelers out for batteries in the Plattsburgh area so I'm hoping that even with exchange I'll still come out ahead. Looking at lift kits, I'm kinda settled on the 6" double A-Arm but still unsure of which make. They all look to be reasonably well built. I'm not going to be doing any serious off roading but still want something a little more robust than a standard spindle lift. Pound for pound, which is the best value? Once I make contact with my friends south of the border I'll be able to get stuff shipped to them, then invite myself to their homes, drink their beer, then after 48 hours head back north with the goods and a duty free pass across the border. |

From what I've heard, All Sports are the best. One of our sponsors carries them. Get a hold of David and he will help you out.

Sweet! You can't beat that vote! I'll reach out to Dave and see what the damage will be.

Exactly! Queue buddies from Plattsburgh or Malone New York. My neighbour also has a company in Boston and his employees travel there every couple months or so. I'll line up one of those and you can ship there. :)

Re: CC Precedent - A-Arm lift kits?
I have a RHOX and it seems pretty beefy. That being sad I did not like the rear lift design and Dave hooked me up with an AllSports rear lift. The 2 U-bolt design is just better IMHO.
I know some will poo poo the RHOX but so far it seem solid and will work fine for my use. I'm not offloading. Just like a little more ground clearance and like the look more. |
