Default Removing Seat Covers

I have a 2009 Precedent and I would like to replace just the seat covers. The covers seem to be molded into the plastic frame. Can this be removed?

Thanks

There is a plastic piece that is usually stapled on the underside of the sea that acts as a buffer between the cart body, and the Staples underneath that secure the vinyl to the seat. I have seen some times that the vinyl has actually been glued to the foam cushion, and in these cases you remove the plastic barrier piece and re-cover with a vynil of your choice, using the staple method around the perimeter underneath, and then resecure the plastic barrier piece on top.

I went thru this myself last year and believe it or not, you are supposed to install new covers over the plastic frame and staple into the plastic frame

With so many different kinds of seats, I'm not 100% sure mine are OEM. I want to get this right. I'm supposed to staple over this .

Those are OEM seats. It's correct that you must staple into the plastic. Make sure you have a good stapler. The cheap electric one from Harbor Freight won't puncture the plastic.

There are several videos that show how it is done. I chickened out and just ordered zippered covers from Uptopar, com. I will be able to removed them for washing, etc. If they appear too loose, I'm going to add some Velcro to tighten them up. I use my 2009 CC Precedent mainly for golfing.
