Roof Mount radio problems
I used a roof mount for the radio in my 2010 Precedent. It has been installed one season and I really like convenience. The only problem is the weight of it causes the top to flex slightly causing a vibration. While driving you can push up on it and it's okay. I'm considering some type of bracing between the front windshield struts. Has anyone run into this problem with their roof mtd. radios? If so, what was your fix?

Re: Roof Mount radio problems
I've had customers come in with those roof mounts, and yes I've created braces to stiffen them up. I've tended t shy away from those because of that weight up that high. Anymore I try to steer people to the small round units. I can find a decent place to put them in almost any cart. AM/FM, MP3, Bluetooth. Weather protected small & lightweight.
