Re: Iqdm,user<series 11
The voltage can go as high as 65v during a charge before the OBC cuts the charger off.

Re: Iqdm,user<series 11
That doesn’t sound right- the charger amperage will go down to around 3 Amps when it is almost done. If the charger goes under 3 A for any period of time, the OBC might be bad.

thanks Luke,we have a fleet of CC 48V carts that are mostly ten years old or older.tired of messing with these OBCs.thinking of ordering dozen of the modern DPI accusense chargers or something equivelent that doesnt utilize an OBC

Are these IQ Plus carryalls with eight 6V batteries? Are you using the correct IQ Plus chargers?

the ones with 6V seem to have the IQ plus chargers from what i noticed so far.. just having alot of OBC failures these days, wouldnt i be better $$ to bypass failed OBCs and just order modern charger like DPI Accusense 17Amp model 1-48017-04??i have one of these chargers i keep in shop that i have been ussing as experiment on batts that are older and it seems to rejuvinate them?most of are carts the charger stays with cart at all times (onboard).Huge 10,000 acre facility and carts are spread out over BIG area.thanks |
