Curtis 803 State of charge meter/hour meter install

So I just ordered one of these prior to looking at the installation instructions. After looking at them, I’m a little intimidated. Has anyone installed one of these in a Club Car Precedent? If so, can you explain the pin connections in a little simpler terms.

Connections on a Precedent:

Pin 8 -> Red wire (behind dash)
Pin 5 -> Black/Yellow (behind dash)
Pin 2 -> Blue Wire from Key switch.

Pin 1 -> Blue/White wire from solenoid small post.
