Yes Liquid tape has a limited shelf life but last longer if you torque the lid down with channel locks.

Were gettin a lot of mileage out of this liquid tape, works good for repairing under ground dog fence wire too. I think it is the same crap you dip tool handles in also.

Just the bigger set of Channel locks, or a big pipe wrench.
