Factory refurbished cart ?
Can someone in-the-know tell me what this entails ?
My CC Precedent has factory refurb stickers on it... I believe it was done in 2010. I don't have access to the cart right now so I don't know when the original mfg date was prior to refurb. My question is... will my cart have all 2010 components since it was "refurb'd" in 2010 ? or do I need to be careful when ordering stuff ? Anything specific I should look for to determine one way or another ? Thanks in advance |

Re: Factory refurbished cart ?
I'm in the same situation. The only thing they upgraded to 2010 standards is that they installed a GenII pedal assy. To order parts you need to find the real year of your cart and order parts for that year. In case you missed it in the other post.

Art, just keep my number and ask me anytime you need to order parts and I'll point you in the right direction. WalterM6 is right, without knowing what drive system is on your cart it's gonna be hard to know what to order in some cases.

Found a new one online for $50... So if you happen to have one of those laying around...(New/used) I'll buy that when I come down for the batteries. Already have a roll of 2g cable and ends here to replace all the 6g cables. I will probably pull the entire body off so I can access the chassis easier. |

The cart is parked an hour away at my father in laws till Saturday... so I'll have more info available when I go back for it. I originally bought it for myself... but offered it to wife's dad to use on his property... but after digging into it, he decided to just go buy a Kawi Mule instead of dumping money into the cart. |

Re: Factory refurbished cart ?
Sergio that is another thing they upgrade. My 2P10 which orginally was a IQ06 has that battery bucket. So I guess as part of the reman procedure they convert from 4 12V batteries to 6 8V.

Should have said PQ06 instead of IQ06 in previous post.

Re: Factory refurbished cart ?
You are right, if the original cart was 2008 or prior, You would likely still have the old dashboard which is not compatible with the newer style.
As mentioned, the second S/N location is under the MCOR/Brake access panel behind the brake equalizer: |

Re: Factory refurbished cart ?
The dash kit is the one thing I got caught on. I ordered one for a 2010 and it wouldn't fit.
