It sounds like the regen level is turned off or way down on your cart via the controller.

Yes, the option You are looking for is called: "Pedal Up Mode Setting".
0 = Off
1 = Mild Pedal Motor brake.
2 = Aggressive (default on OEM Club Cars).
Just use the + and - on the change value button.

UNFORTUNATLY,i have the IQDM series2 and not the IQDM-P and cannot get into the program:(
It should be in the #2 default from factory?
like mentioned in earlier post,my alarm works if cart is hand pushed,so speed sensor seems OK?i am not getting any resistance on declines,if anything cart picks up speed..

UPDATE,i was able to borrow an IQDM-P from another department.I was able to adjust Petal up mode setting to #2.So i started playing with this scanner on the fleet of carts we have to see where there settings were.why is it that i see some carts with a 4 setting for speed and when you go to adjust it,only has 1,2 and 3?of course 3 being the fastest speed..?also when i go to monitor screen the pack voltage is one full volt less then when measured with calibrated Fluke87 VOM?
