Default 08 club car 48v iq

I have a 2008 club car ds 48v iq cart. I was driving it the other day with no problem then from a stop it wouldn't go. I checked all connections and nothing. then all of a sudden it started going again. I have bypassed the f/r switch to take that out of the equation. swapped the run/tow switch with a known good one. swapped out the mcor with a know good mcor, and swapped the solenoid with one I had lying around. not a 100% sure if it is good. sometimes the cart will drive 15ft and sometimes 15inches. only after it has been sitting. any ideas

Does the reverse buzzer still work when the cart is not working?

If not, the issue is the OBC lockout circuit.

cart doesn't have a functioning reverse buzzer.

To me it sounds like a bad solenoid. It's not closing and running through the pre-charge resistor. Check your pre-charge and see if it is getting hot.

Does the cart offer resistance to being pushed by hand when you are having the problem?

the solenoid didn't have a precharge resistor. what happens if there isn't one at all. I just got this cart. I might have one in the garage. I will give it a shot with a new solenoid I just got

The Solenoid contacts wear out prematurely and it can also damage the Controller filter capacitors.

No pre-charge resistor eliminates my idea.
