Default charger voltage/amperage jumping around

2000 "series" Lester power drive 17935.noticed voltage while charging varying almost .4V and amp meter on charger swinging from 4 to 8A.reset OBC,still same.prob with OBC,charger or Batts??thanks

Go to this web page and pick out the charger repair kit you need. Order and replace. The meter jumping is usually caused by a bad rectifier in the charger. If your not sure leave Dave a message and he will get back to you.

Ok update i replaced rectifier and it took care of 90% of prob of "meter jumping".
this is older type rectifier that has two jumbo exposed Diodes soldered to copper plate.what is strange when i test ussing fluke87 DVOM on "diode" function it displays voltage drop of .524V on both diodes and of coarse OL (open) when i switch leads.as long as these are forward based diodes,that tells me they are good?anyone?
