Default DPI Accusense charger DIP settings

Greetings,
I recently purchased a DPI Accusense charger.
Model : 1-48017-04
MFR MOD : 1RB-48F017E20-E02
S/W: DPI-PE-48F017- A02-02

I have a few questions about the DIP settings. I'm using Trojan T-890's after visiting http://www.dpipower.com/store/index....cal-questions/ I found the correct settings for Trojan T-875's to be, I believe, mode 12 with the DIP's in positions 0 1 0 1 1. Would this be correct for The T-890's too? Is mine set correctly in the attached picture?

For setting the DIP's on and off, if 1=down is the DIP next to the printed numbers on the bottom? Does this charger display what mode it is in? It has no LCD display. Should one of the LED's blink 12 times?

I have emailed DPI and Golf Cart King, but have not received a response, to be fair it is Saturday and neither list hours for the weekend. I figured someone here would probably have the correct answer.
Thanks for your support,
Michael

It looks like the dip switches are correct. When you plug the charger into AC the shutdown and detect should flash for 4 secs.

Thanks! I just don't want to burn up a brand new set of batteries.

You probably just wouldn't get maximum performance out of them.

I know, but it is quite possible to damage the batteries with the wrong algorithm. As I have a have been converting my cart from 4x12v to 6x8v for about a week now I don't want to charge them incorrectly because everybody is off for the weekend. This pack needs to last a for a long time.

I would use mode 4. T-890 batteries are Flooded. Mode 12 is for AGM batteries.

from DPI this morning

you’d probably be better off using mode 6 (00101), as this is the setting we recommend for deep cycle flooded Trojan Batteries (The T-875 is an AGM battery)

First of all, I have a DPI charger and won't consider anything else. But I've got to say that their manuals and tech support really stink.

While Trojan makes a T875-AGM model, the T-875 is flooded.

So dpi told you their mode 4 is for AGM batteries?

That mode 6 (355-425AH) does not seem to make sense for a 190AH battery, but then again those modes don't mean much for individual batteries.
