Default Pq bandit motor opinions wanted

Got a cart in my inventory the other day and I'm thinking of doing a dumb thing, and making it another "keeper cart". Used for when friends come over, going to polo games, fairs, buggy shows, concert tailgating, etc etc
It's already fully done up looks wise, and has the 205 tires on 10" alloys, and back seat. but i wanna get a little bit of extra speed and power out of it, without having to buy a $500 motor, $500 controller, big cables. So I'm thinking for $250 I can send my motor out to pq to be reworked to their bandit motor and that be the only performance mod I do to this cart. considering my other keeper cart precedent has the speed/power dd motor, alltrax 500 mapped to it, 2ga cables, U.S 205 amp hr batteries, and a ton of other investments I can't justify spending all that on another cart that I really don't even need to begin with LOL....
So to those of you have have them....
how do you like them?
How is the speed and torque vs stock?

The bandit is a refurbed stock motor. Same 2 or 3 hp. Results vary cart to cart.

I know it's just a refurbed motor, but i would have thought it to give more power. What's the point of it if not making more speed / power?

I don't know what they do to them ,but when they did mine I got more speed and torque. No night and day difference but enough I could tell the difference going up hill. I was getting a strong 25 mph on level ground, with my Curtis 350 amp controller.

Very good point of yours! A site sponsor wouldn't do that to the forum members right.

This link might shed some more light that the motor does indeed has more HP:

You can probably get the same results as a Bandit motor by installing a speed magnet. After all a Bandit Motor is a cleaned up, shined up stock motor with a speed magnet. But in your situation living in Florida w/o any hills it will suit you just fine. For the record I purchased a bandit and it did what it was advertised to do, increase my speed to 25mph so I could get street legal. Just not uphills.

Judging by your speed should we assume this was a sepex motor, not series?

This article is loaded with inaccurate info. These guys can’t even get the speed calculator right.

I just installed a bandit motor on my 01 cc series. Before I was getting 12mph. After the install I am getting 19mph, everything else is stock and am running 22 psi tire pressure.
