Default Quick question about newer Precedents

If I have read correctly, the 2014 and newer Precedents come with the ERIC (smart? ) charger that controls and monitors the charging. Does this mean these carts don't have an OBC?

That is correct, E.R.I.C. = No OBC.

Who makes the E.R.I.C. charger? Would it be comparable to a regular smart charger like the DPI or Lester Summit?

It is basically a Delta-Q IC Series Battery Charger.

In fact you can even use their free software to read the diagnostic data You get when you insert a USB stick on the ERIC charger.

My only bummer on the charger is if I ever wanted to switch to lithium I cannot charge the charging for them. Apparently they do have programming for lithium batteries but it's only for OEM's but I am not familiar with any doing it with it currently.
