High speed gear math class
Is there a mathmatical way to figure out what a 6:1 vs 8:1 high speed gear set should do in a cart? I know CC_John has 8:1 and does 28mph if I remember correctly, on 22" wheels, beast motor, 500 amp controller... correct me if I'm wrong, CC_John.
I have 23"wheels, 500 amp AXE controller, ordering the Beast, and considering a Plumquick mod to the D395 if it's able to be tweaked at all. So who's the math whiz out there?? |

Re: High speed gear math class
Thanks for the post. I guess there is a huge difference between the math and real world. Got a difference of around 10mph using the equation vs. real world data (as long as the actual rpms of the beast are 2300).
