Suggestions on golf club storage after a Club Car 36v to 48v Conversion
I’m going to convert my 1989 Club Car from 36v to 48v. I only use my cart for playing golf. If I add the two new batteries to the bag well I will lose the spot for my clubs. Any recommendations on an alternative battery placement or golf bag location?

Just put in 6 eight volts. Leave the bagwell the way it is.

You could install a small golf cart trailer hitch on the cart and then get one of those golf bag holders that inserts into the hitch if you end up using the bag well but I agree wait until you need new batteries or sell your set used and get six 8 volts.

Thanks for the input. Going with the 6x8V setup.

It is my understanding that 36v resistor carts converted to 48v don't last too long before they self destruct. Talking up in smoke.
