Wanted to update this thread for future readers...

My opinion is to stay away from all the cheap eBay meters out there. To date I have gone through 3 of them. I purchased "1" Datel meter last year and it's working like it should... not one problem

Actually would have cost me less in the long run

And lets not mentioning trying to "fill" the wholes in an expensive dash........Use good meters from the start, and save the headaches......

Has anyone successfully installed a Curtis 48v 2-wire digital hour meter? If so can you share how you wired it? I wired pin 1 to key switch and pin 2 to ground. It isn't coming on. I have a message to tech support at Digi-Key but don't know if they will respond back. Curtis instruments isn't cheap gear, though anything can be defective. Thanks.

Just read page 1 of this thread. It shows the meter as well as where I purchased it from. Most of the eBay meters are the same... just sold by different vendors.

On a separate but related subject, how is your LED green/yellow/red meter working? Do you find it to be accurate? And those of you with meters in a CC Precedent, did you leave the amber "low battery" light connected?

You should need the amber light functioning. The amber warning light is part of the on–board computer's battery monitoring system. Keep that separate from any voltage monitoring that you would do with the digital in dash meter. Think of the amber light like an idiot light, by the time it comes on your batteries are already in trouble.
