Exclamation Lifted 2009+ Precedent Ball joint broke

Hello!

My wife “brushed” a stump (her words) and broke the lower ball joint on my Precedent.

Mad Jax lift and I can’t seem to easily find replacement part.

I need one fairly soon, any help appreciated! Thanks!

Yikes. I’m sure you can find a part replacement. If you’re looking to prevent such a thing from occurring ever again, look into the Rhox double a arm lift which is much “beefier” and has a full a arm lower and upper which has a stronger design and not just a ball joint.
Not to disparage the set up you have, just giving you an alternate option.

Can't you just measure it and get one from your local bearing shop? Or online? [Most are 1/2 or 5/8 NF unless metric]

Just a side note, real heim joints [not chicom $#it] are incredibly strong, often will bend the control arms before parting company. Could be a cost effective swap if you are prone to breaking the stock ones.

Thank you all for your replies! Much appreciated!

I’ve ordered some things from David (and other site sponsores) and have always had excellent experience. If it wasn’t the holiday weekend I’d would’ve tried and called him.

I found these upgrades on Amazon and having them overnighted.

Chromoly 1/2 Inch XMR8 Rod Ends / Heim Joints (Set of 4)

I’m suprised the heim joints have held up this long to be honest. We have some nice trails at our campground and the cart gets used pretty hard. It’s a lot of fun with the upgrades I got from Scotty B. I love to smoke the gassers !

Thanks again gang.
