Programming new alltrax controller...

Thanks to everyone’s help finally got new admiral 500 controller and admiral mot 4 motor on and it’s up and running...with help of new solenoid it worked fine...only problem is when it’s at full throttle seems to be running 3-5 mph. There is a break in period with the new motor but I’m not sure how to check the programming tool kit on lap top to check the settings... what are recommended settings to optimize cart for torque and travel? Thanks for all the help...

Download the software from Alltrax. You did mean Alltrax and not Admiral? Install it. Connect computer to Controller with USB printer cable and you should see all settings. If unsure about settings upload screenshots.

I’ve dowloded the software... just don’t know how to maximize settings...

Look to,set your throttle,curve and your maximum allowed rpms.

One of the critical settings is the field map. See if yours match your motor.

Who did you buy it from? It should have been set up out the box for your specific needs and programmed to your motor.

Somethings not right. Did you splice in the motor speed sensor wires? Be SURE you have the MOT-A4T field map installed before driving. Using the incorrect field map will cause damage not covered by any warranty

The motor and controller were bought together and I was told programmed... I did not know what you mean by splicing in motor speed sensors
