Default slow cart today

I need some help I had a regen 1 cart that I change to a series cart through Scotty, what a good guy he really hung in there with me on all of it cause I had some family issues.
So I changed it all over and woo hoo went from 12 mph and no pull on any hill to 27 mph and went right up any hill like Scotty said.
So yester day wife and I were out on a drive with it and got caught by a sudden rain storm I hurried home and pulled in shed.
About an hour later it all cleared up and I went to get cart again, it started jumping and I gave it full throttle and it took off great then I let off and now it has not pull or anything goes about 4 mph is all, so I charged it again over night and pulled it out and still the same, checked each battery and reads 8.5 on all checked them all and its 52.2 under under acceleration it drops to 50.1 It didn't look like anything really got wet I'm just not sure where to go from there for checking
Thanks for any help
Mark

Dang Mark it is hard to say with it mostly looking like something is wet.

I would begin by trying to uplug any electronic connections and blow them out with air. I would check all my cable and wire connections to both the motor and controller for tightness or a burnt/bad terminal.

If still an issue after that, I believe you said you have the SR-400 and if so, you should be able to use the Alltrax Tool Kit on your laptop and check the input signals to the controller and see if you have lost part of the throttle input or something else.

thanks for the response nole fan, I checked all connections already and dried them all off and checked for tightness, like I said they didn't seem to be that wet, also the led light on the controller isn't on. I tried to go to all trax and get the software and cant find any of it.
thanks for any help, I have a few people over and I know its a hit with them but guess they wont be able to try out the new motor today.

I don't know what throttle POT is used with that, buts that's where I would go with a series car running slow.

Check your potentiometer or your throttle and make sure it didn’t get wet or damaged etc.

Pop the cover off the side of it. I don't know where you mounted it but you may have to remove a battery. I would also check and make sure a battery or solenoid cable has not worked loose.
