Best rearview mirror for an 86 DS
So I read some threads that said the log 5 mirror strips that go across the cart are not that great. I found a nice big UNIVERSAL mount center style mirror that turned out not to be universal and sent it back today. On most of the older DS carts I have seen, the front windshield is behind the front roof support. The universal mount mirrors use that leading edge roof support to attach. Won't work on my 86 DS.
What is everyone using? Are those 5 mirror strips really that bad? While my cart does not have to be "Street Legal" in our community, it DOES have to have a mirror. SURELY there is one made for an old DS! I would use side mirrors, but it would make the cart too wide to park in our little cart garage spot. I could probably fold them in every time, but I know I would forget..... Anywho, If anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it. THANKS! Rob |

'64 chev impala mirrors. Carefully screwed to the underside of the front roof support. Work great and DON'T hang out too far past the roof to catch stuff or walk into.
