Default Precedent throttle problem

I’ve got a precedent that is going into a throttle fault. I have a handheld and with the key off the throttle percentage is norma throughout the rangel. As soon as you turn the key on the throttle gets about 30-40% more at the same throttle position and after 100% it goes into a throttle fault and shuts down. Looking for ideas as I do not work on club cars that offen. I did try a different mcor that I had and it does the same thing. Thank for the help

Isn't there a deadband setting for the throttle that you can adjust that out with?

Not sure, even if there was it wouldn’t really fix the problem. Its now become intermittent where it will work normal sometimes and other times it’ll go into an over range throttle fault. I’m leaning towards something going bad in the controller but I don’t like throwing parts at stuff. I like to know first.

I figured there would be so smart precedent guys in here. Hopefully they can chime in.

Have you recently changed the controller? Lots of people don't realize it but the Black IQ controller and the Grey Excel controller are not interchangeable, even though they'll bolt up and plug into the wiring with no mods. What's the vehicle serial number and the controller model number?

Grey 1515 controller
This was a cart that was working fine and it has a speed code on it so I’m sure it’s fine

I’ve put a different controller in it and it is still doing the same thing, just not quite as bad. Now it’s only doing in when you first go to drive it after it’s sat for a while. It’ll go into the throttle fault then it’ll clear up and work fine.

Same problem with 2 different controllers and 2 different mcors

Any ideas?

Are You using the black/yellow negative wire in the dash for anything?

If so disconnect it to see if it is causing the problem.
