Default 1986 Club Car Resistor Cart

A neighbor has just picked up this (free) 36 volt cart with the following items loose in glove box
1- Pie Shaped "V" Glide with heavy wires attached ( condition unknown and wires in bad shape)
2- 5 micro switches with low voltage wiring attached ( wires bad shape )
3- 5 solenoids ( condition unknown )
4- 3 resistors on insulated board with heavy wiring attached ( no sign of having solenoids attached and poor wiring )
Having been unable to find wiring diagram for 1986 club car so dont know which type is correct and or which would work best to install ( if parts are working ) neighbor doesnt have the money to convert to electronic controller and so must try and get by with what he has? He is handicapped and needs this cart to get him around park. I offered to help him but must have some basic info to get it running for him. Another neighbor is going to do the actual work and he needs my help as he is not a cart mechanic.
I find (NO) pedal linkage to hook either of these setups to as well as no step type unit to activate the micro switches? I have never seen a set up like this and sure could use some help with diagrams and possible needed parts?

This is gonna cost some money no matter wich way you go. The V-glide and resistor coils is the better of the 2 old systems. There should be a linkage rod from the gas peddle to the V-glide which mounts on the frame under the driver's seat.....the coils mount to the rear of the batteries.....Really your best bet is to search Craigslist for 1988-1992 CC ( not sure if more years like this?) and go look at one....Actually, I think I found enough pictures for you to be able to build one

Scottyb- Thank You So Much For Info And Pictures, Now I Have An Idea How It Is Set Up And Can Start Looking For Missing Linkage Etc. Didnt Want To Invest In Parts Manual For Info On An Older Cart Like This One As This Is All Free Gratise By Me And Others.
Thanks Again For Your Input.
