Thoughts on Rhox Rear Seat Kit for Prescident
Just picked up a '15 Prescident today. It is set up as a traditional golf cart so the first thing I need to do is add a Battery Meter and a Rear Seat Kit so I can get everyone on board. I have looked at Seat Kits on a number of sites. Was wondering if anyone has used the Rhox rear seat kit? Looks nice and I believe its made in US. Appears to be of high quality and has a storage area under the rear seat which is nice. Anyone use one of these? I'm typically one who likes the OEM look so I plan to price out a CC kit too but it may be priced too high, not sure on that yet. Still looking at options. Thanks! Jason

Re: Thoughts on Rhox Rear Seat Kit for Prescident
One thing to note about the Rhox Heritage rear seat is that it comes with an additional rear footplate support bracket which is much sturdier than the MadJax model. It’s the reason I use them on my carts. Much sturdier and secure than just a sheet metal triangle bracket. Cost should be near 270-280 shipped.

My factory CC rear seat is a CC label on a Double Take Max5 seat.

Re: Thoughts on Rhox Rear Seat Kit for Prescident
I just installed my Rhox rear seat on my 2014 Prescident yesterday.
I like it a lot. I like that you can keep the sweater basket in place. See this post I made. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...back-seat.html I did not have any luck finding what model seat brand this was so I just went to my used cart dealer and purchased what he had. Turns out it was the Rhox and the one I wanted. $250. (new not used) Maybe we are not talking about the same seat?????? The one I have is a Rhox seat-731 made in China. Very happy with it. I plan to post some photos as soon as I get a chance to take some. |

Re: Thoughts on Rhox Rear Seat Kit for Prescident
I have this rear seat as well. It was actually cheaper to buy the Club Car version from my dealer vs. the DoubleTake version anywhere. One advantage if you ever decided to look at this seat kit, the Cub Car version optional hitch mounts different than the DoubleTake hitch. The Club Car one goes all of the way back to under the bagwell. Once installed the rear footboard and kit are not going anywhere. Super strong.
