2002 club car ds lift tire questions
I just installed a lift and new 20" tires last night. 002 DS 48v brand new powertrons that were tested and functioning properly.
After testing the cart is actually a little slower than before. (22 before, works to get up to 21 now). I have a couple questions I hope you can help me with. I dont coast nearly as far as i used too on the 18s. The tires are mad jax predators. Listed as all terrains but have a fairly aggressivr tread pattern. I am thinking that the tire itself is limiting speed based on the friction and tread and size/weight. But i also think the hubs may be too tight now. The brake pedal has a lot of slop in it now too. So I plan on adjusting that tonight. Any other ideas as to what the speed problems may be? I am not trying to drag race but I expected a marginal increase so I want to make sure that everything else is in order. Also, the steering wheel is off center. Any guides on how to center it back up? |
