With no lift, stock (1 is highest you can get. You might could get a 20 if you had wheel spacers on front but not sure and would look rediculous.

Without a lift, almost anything larger diameter than stock (18") will rub in turns on the front.

take a read thru this.... you will find some helpful info....

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...els-tires.html

IMHO, simply adding the front lift block and rear shackles mentioned in the thread improves the handling and stance of the cart along with adding the small amount of clearance needed for 205's....

I have a shop near me that sells the brand new "takeoff's" from stock Yamahas that they lift and big tire... $ 100 for a set with generic hubcaps.
Hard to beat that !!! also, the Yamaha rim has a slightly less "backspace",
giving you a slightly wider stance....better handling....

That is exactly the setup of the "Red" DS below....

Just my $0.02 !!!

You can get this look without a lift. I don't think that cart even has a lift. Just get low profile tires. 12 in wheels and low profiles.

Ex. That stands at 18.5 in

This man speaks the truth. This is my 2008 with 215/35/14 wheel/tire combo.(That is about a 20” equivalent). This combo only required a 1/2” block lift and rear hd springs and did not rub at all. It looked pretty good and drove great on the road when I gave it a test drive. . But when I got home and drove it on our golf cart paths and dirt roads, it was the roughest bumpiest ride I’ve ever had. I immediately order a 3” all sports a arm lift and dual action springs. My new tires are 20x10x 12 all-terrain , which is technically the same size. But it is a wider tire, and side by side, it seems about a half inch or so taller than the street tires. The street tires are also more rounded off on the edges, so that also helps keep them from rubbing. I guess this is just the long way of saying not to get larger rims with low profile street tires if you will be on any sort of bumpy path.
