Default 36V Toaster cart and 48V IQ upgrade strategies

I have got the upgrade fever, but my desire is all about the functionality and less about style. We live in an RV resort (most of the year) in SoCal (Temecula). Our park is hilly and there are trails in abundance right outside the boundaries of our park that are on BLM land, so I want to make one of our two carts more trail capable, but both better at climbing hills. We have two Club Car DS carts, an 84’ toaster 36V (with two year old Trojan T105’s) and an 02’ DSIQ 48V with 5 year old Costco Energizer 8V’s. Often, the 02’ doesn’t get a complete charge after the allotted time frame with it’s Power Drive charger (the OBC is apparently functioning properly). I have cleaned up the battery compartment (stalactites of corrosion and made new 2 gage cables for it because many the old connectors were basically trashed by the corrosion. I used 2 gage cable that I had on hand and ran out before I could make the pack negative that passes through the OBC, so I contented myself by just replacing the end with a new lug. Anyway, I am going to go with a roll-your-own lithium set up as soon as I can, but it might be six months or more before I can swing that.
All that said, what I am looking for are opinions on the best, most cost effective incremental way to do the upgrades I am contemplating, which include; Lift kit (Would like the long travel version and eventually, front disc’s), Alltrax 500Amp controller and associated electrical bits, the aforementioned Lithium battery upgrade and its associated bits (charger, BMS, low voltage cutoff, etc.), 10 or 12 inch wheels and AT tires, motor, etc.
Some obvious questions arise from my list: Is the Jake’s front disc kit the only game in town and does it require a Jakes lift kit for fitment? Just looking at the various kits, the double A arm is what I would consider IFS regardless of the brand, although the only one that uses coil over shocks is the Jakes long travel. The Steeleng double A arm kit has an attractive price point, but because the pivot points are farther apart, it appears as though it would have much less travel than the others. If there are Disc options that will work with the GTW, All Sports, etc., I would be very interested in exploring those options. I am hoping to find a deal on some 10 or 12 inch used aluminum wheels with tires via Craig’s list in So Cal or ,maybe even Palm Desert and if I do, than that would be the first item on my list.
One issue however, my mate doesn’t much like using the 84’ 36V cart since she drove my newly acquired 02’ DSIQ. So I need to up the hill climbing performance on the 84’ so that I can work on upgrading the 02’ with less complaints, and I need to do that on the cheap to start… The performance of the 02' DSIQ is in line with what I have read on the forum, about 14 flat out on flat ground, slowing to 8 or so going up some fairly steep inclines, and down hills limited to 10 or less by the regen braking.

I realize there are lots of questions inherent in my rambling above, so I will probably need to break it up into specific areas to expedite solutions, but some general thoughts on the overall processes would be helpful.
Don

For the hills and valleys and all other upgrading, you are correct to utilize the DSIQ for that!

Alltrax XCT 500
400a solenoid
complete the 2g cabling you started
Admiral MOT-A4 High Torque Motor (You can still get good speed from it)
22" tires on those wheels you are wanting
6" Allsports Double A-arm lift kit (Not sure about the front disc fitment, but if you convert your rears to disc you will be just fine)

Take a look here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/c...-club-car-prec and then search around.
