Question The non-movin 93

My Buddy and i just recived a 93 Ds golf cart from a freind. We spent two days trying to get it to work. The batteries are good. all connections are cleaned and connected, and it won't move. The solenoid is clicking when you press the throttle but the motor doesn't move the cart. On jackstands the wheels will trun an inch when you press the gas. I'm stucK!!!
Any help?

What do you mean a controller cart? The black brain module up under behind the seat?

YEP! DOwnload a wiring diagram from the stickies at the top of this section and call me in the morning...... sounds like you may have a bad controller.

I looked at the wiring harnesses all day I just didn't know what do to from there haha. Looking at the enclosed black box gives me a big black mental bolck.

Sounds more like a bad solenoid to me

across your solenoid there is a small resistor.. That pre-charges the capacitors in the controller for a smooth and pleasant take off. When your solenoid fails, that pre-charge happens, allowing one small turn, but the resistor doesn't allow enough amps for any continued operation.

I've seen the symptom hundreds of times, and if I'm wrong, you are only out about $30

So your saying you think I just need to change the solenoid? Is thgere a way I can jump the solenoid to see if then the motor will work? I can here the clicking sound coming from the solenoid when you press the throttle which i thought meant it was actuating.
