Default 94 club car two batteries low reading

Hello to all.

I have a 94 club car 36 volt with a v glide. I purchase new batteries last year and have kept them charged during the winter months. The cart ran fine yesterday and I put it on the charger overnight. I have the round needle battery gage attached and the reading last night showed that it needed charged. This afternoon I thought it was strange but the cart was still charging. I looked at the gauge on the cart and it showed the cart had zero charge. I looked at the gauge on the charger ad it shows that the charger was charging all out (as if it were just plugged in).

I used my volt meter and see that the voltages are as follows:

Passenger front battery is at 5.8V
Passenger rear batter is at 5.8 volts
Center Passenger battery is at 5.8 volts
Center Driver side battery is at 5.1 volts
Driver front battery is only showing 1.4 volts
Driver rear battery is showing 1.2 volts

I have checked all of the connections and all are tight. Does it look like the two batteries are shot already?

When I plug the charger in it will not charge anymore.

The solenoid clicks on the cart but there is no movement on the cart.

What could cause the last two batteries to not charge?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

A 6 volt battery is empty at 6.1 volts. The two very low ones are Dead. Dig a hole and bury them, dead. The 5.1 is in critical condition and my not survive. The rest at 5.8 are exhausted, drawn down below the manufactures reccommendation...the charger wont come on until you connect it to about 30v .... You can hook the "good" ones up to a 12v charger by connecting 2 in series and charging 2 at a time...Look for 2 gd used ones to complete this ailing pack or bite the bullet and admit it is time for a new set......good luck

I will give that a shot. I am just confused why 2 would die out while the others seemed to be taking the charge. I was hoping to get more than 1 year out of these...Live and learn.

So this morning get up and out of curiousity checked the batteries again. Now the charger runs and the three batts at 5.8 still read 5.8, the 5.1 is now 5.6 The 1.4 is now 5.3 but the last one is still only 1.2. Maybe I had bad reading and only really need 1 new battery?

That might work today? Do you have lights or accessories hooked up to the 2 batteries in question?

The cart came with headlights and I added the battery gage and that is it. I don't know exactly why the gage i acting up. When I left it yesterday, it was dead, today it shows signs of life.

Just an FYI if anyone is having similar issues...

I talked to Crown Battery and was told the same thing for the most part. I was also told to charge up the lowest batteries and they should come back. I have charged them up and I am at 6.4 volts on three batteries and 6.6 volts on the others. I have had the cart out and ran it a few miles and so far, so good. All batteries have held up for the time being. Maybe I dodged an issue here. Who knows.

The advice I was given by the battery manufacturer is that you need to hit the batteries hard, let them rest and hit them again. In most cases like this they batteries can be brought back.

Thanks for all the help and advice I received here.
