Default 12 volt batteries

I have been searching for various brands of 12 volt golf cart batteries and have only found Trojan T1260 and T1275 batteries. It appears from my searches that Exide and US Battery only handle 6 or 8 volt batteries. Does anyone know of any 12 volt batteries other than Trojan? Thanks.

Why???

Because of the price of Trojan batteries?

They're O.K.... but JUST, O.K....
(I regret it now!)

Yes, Don, price. I know Trojans are excellent batteries, there's no debate there. The Trojans in my 98 Ezgo were replaced last summer after nearly 10 years of service. I replaced them with batteries from NAPA because of the large difference in price. NAPA could not find any listing for 12 volt golf car batteries.

Why would you even consider any other options?

That statement would be the deciding factor for most to buy Trojans..................

Sorry HAVN...
but, your experience is worth it's weight in gold... and, at the time, I didn't know better!

Check with a cart dealer in your area to help you!

ClubCar switched to six 8 volt batteries instead of the four 12 volts. Maybe you can make the switch as well.
