Default Eliminating parking brake

I have a 2014 club car precedent and i hate the way the brake goes to lock. It’s dangerous going down a steep hill. I was thinking about unhooking the parking brake is this possible.

I definitely wouldn’t do that. That would be dangerous and inconvenient to have no way to lock the brake. The pedal shouldn’t lock unless you push the parking brake portion of the pedal.

There has been many times i just mashed the breaks and hit the parking brake putting me into a spin at times. I could through a wheel block in it plus it has regan braking. Just a thought

You might want to change your driving habits!
Relying on the regen braking, or not having a hill (park) brake is just plain dangerous!
In the last 13 years of driving carts, I've only had to "mash" the brakes 3 times!
and yes... I set the hill brake once of those 3! (but only doing 5 mph in a cart parade!)

Safety first when carting!

I ride with a bunch of drunken idiots so there is a lot of brake mashing going on. We try to be carful but there is always some incident on almost every ride. Nothing to be proud of just good old boys in the woods having fun.
