Default converting 36v resistor cart

I'm converting / upgrading my '93 36v club car ds "Resistor" style to a solid state. I've purchased a new Raptor motor, heavy duty solenoid, 4gauge cables, & GE 500 amp controller. I currently have a V-Glide, and was told to purchase a potentiometer instead to replace v-glide, I did. I need a detailed diagram as to how ALL of my connections should be please (Controller, solenoid, what goes where, etc...& any tips...). Also I have a pull switch connected to a second solenoid & batteries (pos. & neg) that once activated it boosts up speed (5mph) where i guess it bypasses straight to motor. Can I keep this in my connections?? the person I purchased cart from said to only use it for short periods of time so nothing burns up. Your detailed assistance is appreciated!! Thanks, AL
