Default 2014 Club Car electric no OBC

I am a small repair shop and have a customer with a 2014 Club Car 48 volt that had charger issues. I ordered a Lester Links series charger from a company on the internet (No names yet) that said the charger worked on all clubcar golf carts 1995-2014 DS & Precedent. Well now I know that not all 2014 carts have OBC’s in them after the charger didn’t come on. I know I can bypass the relay inside and make it charge. The issue with that is that they will not shut off for a full charge. Does anyone know if I can add an additional relay on the cart to allow the charger relay not to be bypassed and it will still shut off for a full charge? I have to pay shipping and restocking fee to return charger. That is why I am not returning it.

Welcome.
You can argue the charger was misrepresented but, you should know what you are buying as a business.
Consider it stock and buy a standalone charger that will work with the Eric cart.

14 Precedent should use a Delta-Q ERIC Charger.

Whats wrong with their charger? Did they buy it with the cart? Did they bring it to you with the cart for testing?

Did you check with CC? Those Delta Q's have a 5 year warranty.... He must be the original owner for warranty purposes.
