Cart wont charge
Hi guys, new to the forum, just had a question. I have a 2002 Club Car 48-volt. When I plug it in to charge, the charger will come on for about 10 seconds then shut off. I had a guy tell me that the computer could be going out or that the capassitor in the charger is out. I can't find anybody around that has a 48-volt charger, only 36, so I can't tell if the capassitor is out or the computer. The charger is a Power Drive charger. Exaclty where is the capassitor located on it?

Re: Cart wont charge
Does it flip the circuit breaker on the charger when it happens?

No, the charger just shuts off. I unplug it and plug it back in and it does the same thing.

Re: Cart wont charge
Capacitor is not likely, i would shelf that idea for the moment..
Check all your wiring, check your batteries for bad cells, check your receptacle for wear and tear etc.. check the fuse on the receptacle.. if all that checks out, computer is likely your culprit. |

Re: Cart wont charge
I just checked checked all that stuff. It has to be the computer. Where can I get one at a reasonable price, and can I install it, or would I have to send it to a professional?
