Need some help with my DS
I'm having an issue with my cart. 2002 48v Sepex and it's been a good cart but it has me stumped. I have not used it over the summer but have kept the charger on it. I had determined to upgrade my cables and did so. All of my work was done with the switch in the TOW position. I removed all of the battery cables first then work on the controller and motor cables. I did all of those one connection at a time so I couldn't screw it up. I used 2 gauge welding wire and crimped using a hydraulic crimp tool. I put the battery inter connect cables on, and tighten them down, connected the positive lead and tighten and then the negative lead.
However the cart will not move. The voltage gauge says 49.7 volts. The charger will engage, start charging at 13 amps, do so for a few seconds then shut off. I get no click from the solenoid and no movement. The MCOR was upgraded to an MCOR 4 right after I bought it. I appreciate any help. |

Re: Need some help with my DS
How did You get the negative cable through the OBC?
There can only be one cable in the pack negative battery post and it must pass through the OBC so it will charge. The OBC current measuring hall effect sensor (the hole) cannot be drilled to enlarge it or it will damage the OBC and prevent charging. |

Re: Need some help with my DS
So what is the answer? A new OBC with a larger port or put the 4 gauge cable back in there?
