That is normal, the charger is evaluating the status of the batteries before it begins charging

How long does it take to evaluate? I thought it was charged.......started at 20 after a few minutes started to drop maybe 10 amps, after several hours gauge says 0, but charger was humming so I left it on. Then came on about 5 amps and 3-4 hours its still charging.....Batteries are bubbling voltages 10.4-10.7.....total pack is 63.0

Club Cars chargers use a 16 hr full charge time, controled by the OBC.
